WEDNESDAY 12 JANUARY - Birthday Party time with the BBC

20th Anniversary parties are in full swing across the Somerset Care Homes. Residents and staff coming together to mark the Company's birthday and to celebrate the occasion. On Wednesday a great party took place at Popham and The Court in Wellington, attended by our Chairman Barrie Dale.

In the meantime an extended party (over two days!) was taking place at Calway House in Taunton. The extension was for the benefit of the BBC, whose reporter Ruth Bradley spent a happy hour interviewing directors, staff and residents.


Always on the lookout for a glamourous picture for the blog I was delighted to capture three of the Calway stars, enjoying and organising the party.

The BBC interviews will be broadcast on BBC Radio Somerset (95.5 FM) during the course of Friday 14 January and hopefully a report will be featured on BBC TV Points West during the 6.30 broadcast.
